Back in the early 1990s, there weren’t a lot of choices in the Collingwood, Ontario area when it came to moving or the storage of your belongings. Our family decided to change that, and the idea for SOS Storage On Site was born. We realized that moving wasn’t a one-day endeavour for many families as they juggled work, school, and other obligations while handling packing and transporting belongings to a new location.
By offering 20’ storage bins that could be delivered to just about anywhere and leaving them in place, we provide the chance to load it at your pace. It can be far less stressful to pack a box and then put it into the storage unit rather than have it continually get in your way as you work on the rest of the packing. Our units also solved the problem of a gap of time between vacating one location and getting into the next, which is so common when selling a home and purchasing another. We simply pick up the container and store it for you until you are ready for us to deliver it to your new home.
Once you are at the new place, you’ll have the same freedom to unpack at your own pace. Instead of having boxes piled up and getting in the way, unload a few at a time and unpack them before going out for more boxes. Your items are safe and secure within our rodent-proof, windproof, and watertight containers.
